KuroLok Blinds

KuroLok features extruded aluminium headbox and slim side channels. The blind fabric is locked into the side channels using zip-edge technology. The aluminium profiles are powder coated in white or black as standard, or any other RAL colour to order.

Headboxes are either 80mm, 100mm or 125mm high, depending on blind size. The slim side channels are only 35mm wide. A wider 56mm side channel is also available. We can also offer an ultra-slim 24mm wide channel for motorised KuroLok only. Sturdy steel legs connect the headbox and side channels to create a rigid frame. Universal profiles allow the frame to be fixed through the face, sides or top as required and all fixings are completely concealed.

KuroLok blinds can be operated manually via chain or crank handle, or motorised with many control options available. Motors with obstacle detection are also available for added safety.

KuroLok Roof Light

Taking all the unique benefits of the KuroLok system and adding powerful constant-tension spring (CTS) units gives you KuroLok RL. This is a system that can operate at any angle from vertical to horizontal, with the blind drawing upwards, downwards or sideways.

Headboxes at the roller end of the blind are either 100mm or 125mm high, depending on blind size. The cassette that houses the CTS units will always be our 100mm cassette. The slim side channels are only 35mm wide. A wider 56mm side channel is also available. Sturdy steel legs connect the headbox and side channels to create a rigid frame. Universal profiles allow the frame to be fixed through the top, face or sides as required and all fixings are completely concealed.

KuroLok RL blinds should be motorised due to the force of the springs. Manual crank handle operation is not recommended but is available if required, subject to size limitations.

The heart of the Evolve® system are strong steel brackets, extruded aluminium roller tubes and ultra-smooth silent bearings. These are things you don’t see, but you will feel the difference over many years of trouble-free operation.

There are plenty of things to see and appreciate. Bracket covers available in a unique range of 6 finishes enable you to make a design statement whilst concealing the brackets & fixings. Or you can conceal the entire roller within an aluminium cassette, which can be custom coloured.

Hembars are available in matching finishes; or you may prefer a discreet hembar concealed within the fabric: the choice is yours.
